Dim Sum Menu

What is Dim Sum?
In literal terms, the word "dim sum" means "to touch the heart". It is served during lunch time, and consists of a wide selection of delicate and delicious Cantonese style snacks to be shared with friends and family at the table. Traditionally, these snacks are presented on trolleys circulated around the dining area by waitresses, calling out the names of the dishes. Dishes are served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.

How to Order
Rather than ordering the food from trolleys, you may select from a variety of items printed on the computer-scan dim sum menu. After choosing the items, simply hand the form over to the server and your dishes will arrive shortly.

Chinese Tea
Tea is known for its ability to assist in digestion and cleanse the palate. Because of this, it is traditionally recognized as the perfect accompaniment for dim sum. Having lunch in a Chinese Restaurant is known as yum cha, literally "drinking tea". There is a small tea charge for each person. The tea should be steeped for 5 minutes in the pot before pouring, and if you would like more water, simply remove the teapot lid to signal your server.
